SFC Willis was born in Suffolk, Virginia. Four years later her family moved to Sunbury, North Carolina. In June 1983 she graduated from Gates County High School. She entered the United States Army on April 27, 1990. SFC Willis was educated and trained in the US Army to be the extraordinaire gourmet chef that she is today.
She was the part owner of Café Tiny's and the sole owner of The Filling Station, which has been in operation ever since December 2017. The Filling Station caters to the culinary needs of the Missile Defense Agency employees consisting of Armed Forces Service Members, Department of Defense workers, Government Contractors, and Civilian workers.
While serving in the US Army, SFC Willis held prestigious positions including:
SFC Willis was trained and mentored by The White House Executive Chef Cristeta Comerford while she was employed there, where she cooked state dinners and congressional picnics.
Sergeant First Class Willis serves her country and volunteers her time:
Sergeant First Class Willis is married to her husband Leroy of 35 years, and they have four children: Iesha, LaRonda, Linwood and LaRae. They have four grandchildren: Terrence, Donnyell, Ayden, and Gianna and one grand dog Prince Chico.
